Spicy Satay French Sirloin Steak

INGREDIENTS

  • 480 g of French Sirloin Steak 480克法國西冷牛排

  • 1 tbsp of sunflower oil 1湯匙葵花籽油

  • 1 White garlic 1個白蒜

  • 1 Shallot 1個青蔥

  • 2 Citronella stalks 2條香茅莖

  • 1 Red Chilli 1條紅辣椒

  • 100g of peanuts 100克花生

  • Salt & ground pepper 鹽和胡椒粉

PREPARATION

Step 1


Peel the garlic and shallot. Remove the outer leaves from the lemongrass stalks. Reserve their soft base and slice them. Rinse the chilli, cut it in half and remove the seeds. Put everything in the bowl of a food processor with the peanuts.

Step 2

Blend to a fairly thick paste. Transfer to a pan with three of tablespoons of water. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes, until the sauce becomes thicker and more aromatic. 攪拌成糊狀物,再轉移到有3湯匙水的平底鍋中。煮4到5分鐘,直到醬汁變得香濃。


Step 3

Season the beef fillets with salt and pepper. Sauté them in the hot oil in a frying pan for 3 to 4 minutes each side, until they are cooked rare. Slice the steak in half, then into pieces. Transfer 2 to 3 tablespoons of satay sauce to soup plates and lay the pieces of beef on top. 用鹽和胡椒調味牛排。煎鍋熱油每面煎3到4分鐘,直到熟透。將牛排切成兩半,再切成小塊。將2到3湯匙沙爹醬倒入湯盤中,然後牛排放在上面。
